Vocalist Kathleen Johnson joins Recy Taylor's nephew Henry Murry in performing “Walk With Me, Lord,” which is Recy Taylor song and anthem of the life she led serving God and family.  

Henry Murry is the son of Recy Taylor's younger sister, Mary Murry.  Henry Murry visited his aunt in her nursing home everyday and when he turned the corner of her unit, she lit up the room with a big smile.   Henry play Recy Taylor's favorite song  "Walk With Me, Lord" at home going service in Abbeville, AL. in January.


Vocalist Kathleen Johnson is lead vocalist for "BKS" and "UNIVERSOUL", founder of  "Musicians4musicians" and co-founder of “Raisingthebar, an Artist’s loft” a mentoring workshop that found it's roots at "ARNELLIA"S!  She has performed LIVE at countless venues and studios such as PAISLEY PARK with local bands, National and International artists such as Prince, Alexander O'neal, Tevin Cambell, Jordin Sparks, Billy McLaughlin, The Petersons and The Steeles.

Presentation of the Recy Taylor Courage Award will be presented to Recy Taylor's family after the screening of THE RAPE OF RECY TAYLOR.
